P's interest in Trump/Christie led us to have an in-depth discussion about this pairing.

We came up with two scenarios.

Trump is infuriated that someone else is making money off the Trump brand by writing Trump erotica, so he starts writing erotica of himself.

1) Cruz's campaign uncovers this as part of opposition research. Cruz originally starts reading for ammunition, but becomes infatuated with the Trump in the stories.

2) Cruz secretly reads Trump erotica and has no idea it's authored by Trump. He leaves extremely enthusiastic 5-star reviews and eventually becomes Trump's beta.

At some point or another, there's a scene where Cruz tells Trump that if he's serious about the relationship he'll give him some delegates.

I am shaking while failing to hold in laughter in public. SHAKING. omfg. Yes. Just imagine the ridiculousness of the write style it would have. And daddy kink. (ew, which is so gross but this could be so funny if written just right).

and then:

1. crying. this is too wrong it is so so right.

2. EW EW EW EW EW PURRRRRFECT BUT EW EW EW EW. lmao.

either/all of these need to happen.

This is brilliant, and I think both scenarios could be layered into an intriguing and multifaceted story. I have only one concern...

How will Christie-tan react when he learns that Cruz-chan is his rival for Donald-sama's affection???

YES. And while he's talking to the road work crews his hands get all sweaty, so he keeps dropping his walkie talkie, which of course creates a number of opportunities for the author to describe him bending over to pick it up.

Well, the situation with Christie starts out pretty dubby, so there's these conflicting feelings of Cruz swooping in and undoing all his hard work and the fact that he is starting to fall for Trump and is legitimately concerned/jealous. I mean, the spark was probably always there, Christie wouldn't wear diapers for just anyone, but the power dynamics cannot be ignored.

I think at one point Trump probably starts playing them off each other.
