Random fandom things

Things I want to do if not so painfully tired during weekday evenings:

1.  Be slightly more social online.

2.  Maintain a list (a DW post?) of all my favorite fanfics. Emergency supply. All linked in one place.  (note: I haven't read fanfic in so long, I think I am missing it)

3.  Create a sideblog on tumblr that is all of my extra favorite fanart and gifs. Quality Cullen, Merrill, Aveline, Isabela, Fran, Drace, Ronsentwins.

4.  Create an inspo blog of art, photos, visual things (I am such a visual writer) for each of the following fic 'verses:

• DA AHOL (+Anthem+Merrill):  (Neria Surana/Everyone, Mari Hawke/Cullen, Inquisitor Merrill/HateFucksSolas, Fendersbastian) - Inspo blog hell of Thedas' seedy underbelly as seen through the eyes of Cullen, Mari Hawke, Fenris, and Merrill, plus many things Dalish and everything Circle, Templar, and Mage. AND THEN THERE IS THE TEVINTER INSPO. Neria, otoh, is the Vivienne that Bioware wasn't capable of writing. Her inspo is quite different in taste. ;)
• FFXII Surveyors: envisioning a collection of image sets that inspire me to think about each of the non-hume cultures in Ivalice because an anthropology of Ivalice actually plays important roles throughout. Add in my visions of Landis plus what we know/assume about Dalmasca and Archadia. Pretty straight forward. FFXII fans would probably dig this, especially if I made image sets for specific topics (e.g., a Vieran Culture Image Set).
• FFXII Sacred & Profane: Picture British upper class circa 1920 plus eye-rolling orientalism meets Archadian Ivalice meets gratuitous romantic architecture. I'm almost embarrassed to consider running this inspo blog as something public because for those who aren't in on the joke/satire... welll. anyhow. 

5.  Put a flame under my behind to start archiving all of my ff.net fic and my LJ fic (so scattered, sooooooo scattered) to my DW fic archive. Or at least get an index up. I think I can handle an index. I once had one somewhere.

The original posts for it were on LJ and I am not sure they are still available but I will eventually (soonish) start making S&P stories available over here plus I am likely to think out loud about that universe because it is AUish. Somewhere on the internet I have a lot of notes for this 'verse.

Merrill/HatefucksSolas? Interesting, I haven't heard you talk about this pairing!

Yeah, this came up in conversations over the summer but you probably missed them.

The initial idea was that if I play DAI end to end a second time with a Dalish inquisitor, even if I use it as fuel for a MerrillQuisition rewrite of everything in DAI that makes me pull my hair out, I might as well play one of the other romances just to see More PotentialCanon Story. That was when Solas became the *facepalm* obvious choice. We know a good deal about Merrill in a romance vs rivalmance from DA2, so Merrill/HatefucksSolas makes for an interesting mess given who she is.

Personally, I see the story as one that is quite rather depressing and set in motion by a rather complex dynamic I probably haven't mentioned to you (??) regarding my Cullen/Hawke??Merrill scenario.

tl;dr: MerrillQuisition is a giant mess!
