I've been posting a lot of heady stuff to tumblr but not here. Not sure how I feel about that because DW is a much better space for conversation. Tumblr is more ephemeral...

I might begin to remedy this by posting copies or by referencing interesting tumblr posts...

Welcome to my life. I've been crossposting a few things, but it's hard to get up the motivation to crosspost when I doubt that it will get much commentary here. Even if, like you, I prefer the format that conversations take on DW.

Yep.

Also thinking about this from an archival point of view. Tumblr is not the easiest place for keeping items archivable such that they are easily retrieved or navigated. Even if DW isn't a hotbed of conversation, it's a little easier to manage tags and create master directory posts on DW.

Also, buy DA now that it failed to appear under the Christmas tree.

You need to go by the entire DA series with your left over Christmas money. Run, don't walk. All of it. DLCs too. :)

Come join the tumblr fun, but know that it can be very hard to keep up with things on tumblr because of how posts are structured. I'm going to start cross-posting a lot starting later today because I'm having a hard time managing my archive of posts over there. I expect to do a lot of blog/tag librarianship over the next few months.
